It was a wild Wednesday night for several NXT Superstars at Full Sail Arena. Not only was a new NXT Cruiserweight Champion crowned, but also an in-ring engagement, and several Superstars suffered injuries.
Perhaps most notable on the injury list is Dakota Kai. In a brutal post-match brawl, Mia Yim put Kai through a table and on the way down Kai’s head struck another table, leaving her with a serious laceration on her head.
The end result of the scary injury was eight staples in the back of Kai’s head. Thankfully she doesn’t appear to have a concussion and should be able to return to action soon. Kai has had an unfortunate history of injuries in NXT, the worst of which required surgery on her knee for a torn ACL.

- Fandango (sent to the ER for imaging) – possible elbow dislocation
- Travis Banks (day-to-day) – eyebrow laceration
