“Yo Joe!”
With everyone stuck inside and practicing social distancing, many Hollywood companies are releasing their movies to home video streaming services early for folks to enjoy and get their mind off of things. Hasbro has decided on a slightly different approach, they’re busting out the oldies and the early childhood nostalgia to help people pass the time.
The ever popular toy company has decided to help out their fellow Joe’s during these difficult times by opening up their archives and putting 15 episodes of the iconic ’80s animated series G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero on their YouTube channel.
If by chance you’re not familiar with the series, it debuted in the ’80s following a team of elite military soldiers as they battled against the nefarious plans of the evil terrorist organization, COBRA. The series ran for three years, with 95 episodes spanning two seasons, and an animated film.
