AEW Division Rankings 4/8/20

Double or Nothing is on the horizon.

AEW has revealed the top 5 rankings for the men’s, women’s and tag division for the week of April 8, 2020.

AEW Men’s Division

Champion: Jon Moxley (7-0 singles, 12-1-1 overall)

  1. Jake Hager (4-0 singles, 5-0 overall)
  2. Chris Jericho (0-1 singles, 11-3-1 overall)
  3. Cody (5-1 singles, 12-6-1 overall)
  4. Kenny Omega (3-0 singles, 19-6 overall)
  5. Darby Allin (4-2 singles, 9-9-1 overall)

AEW Women’s Division

Champion: Nyla Rose (4-1 singles, 9-4 overall)

  1. Hikaru Shida (6-1 singles, 11-5 overall)
  2. Kris Statlander (2-3 singles, 6-6 overall)
  3. Yuka Sakazaki (1-1 singles, 1-4 overall)
  4. Britt Baker (2-2 singles, 10-6 overall)
  5. Riho (3-3 singles, 11-6 overall)

AEW Tag Team Division

Champions: Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (6-0 tag team)

  1. The Dark Order (5-0)
  2. The Young Bucks (2-2)
  3. SCU (2-3)
  4. Lucha Bros (1-2)
  5. Best Friends (3-3)

Not a lot going on from last week and this week, as the women’s and tag division saw no change. The same can be said for the men’s division with the exception of Jake Hager surprising everyone by surpassing Inner Circle leader Chris Jericho.

We’re about six weeks away from AEW’s marquee ppv event, Double or Nothing, currently scheduled for May 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada. As we get closer to the event each week’s rankings are sure to become more and more competitive, so fans can probably expect the rankings to see some serious change in the coming weeks.
