Always Be My Maybe costars, Ali Wong and Randall Park, joined the contestants in the Top Chef kitchen for the quickfire. Everyone had to make their best fried rice using at least one ingredient from the options curated by the special guests. For the elimination challenge, the chefs were sent to the J. Paul Getty Museum where they were divided into groups and assigned a specific artistic movement. After their visit, they were to create a dish inspired by what they learned and representative of their specific style.
Melissa broke into the Top 3 with her elimination challenge win. Jamie cooked his kryptonite, chicken, twice and was bounced off of the show completely. Although he was the first to go in the main competition, Joe keeps trucking along in Last Chance Kitchen. Let’s check all the movement in this week’s Power Rankings after the third episode. Also note, the stat changes from Top/Bottom 3 Finish to just Top/Bottom Finish. There will be times, like this episode, where there are more in both categories.
