Adventures in Movies Episode 62: Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind & Danny’s B-Day

4/20 Month, Close Encounters, & Movie Trivia!

4/20 Month continues with a talk about UFOs. The boys discuss Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind from Steven Greer. The documentary is a different kind of UFO film. But does that make it any better? The three also celebrate Danny’s B Day with a little movie trivia.

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly movies podcast, Adventures in Movies!

The show starts with a talk about SXSW. The festival has found a home on Amazon. The three talk about what movies they are looking forward to.  This somehow leads to a talk about Genesis versus Super Nintendo. The guys also talk about the 30th anniversary of Twin Peaks. They also talk about influential television shows and masked magicians. Plus, the risks of making fun of people you do not really know.

It is Danny’s birthday, so the guys play some movie trivia. Does Danny know the answer to the questions he is asking? Does it matter in the long run? The quiz show leads to a talk about Star Wars, indie movies, and the best way to commit suicide.
