Streets Of Rage 4 secret retro level locations guide

Come on and feel the nostalgia.

Streets of Rage 4 finally launched today on PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

In addition to delivering a sequel that’s 26 years in the making, the wonderful developers who brought us this game also included a healthy dose of nostalgia. There’s 17 playable characters and 12 of them are unlockable characters from the three previous installments in the series. Not only that, but you can choose between playing the game to the original soundtrack or the brand new soundtrack, both of which are fantastic by the way.

But it gets even better. There’s also 4 secret retro stages that you can unlock to enjoy some of the best encounters from the iconic Sega Genesis beat ’em up game, Streets of Rage 2.

Each stage is hidden inside of a Bare Knuckle arcade cabinet and to access them you’re required to use a taser and zap the cabinet. Once inside you’ll have one chance to defeat the boss waiting for you. Success will earn you a star and some food, while failure (losing a single life) will show you the door.

Here’s our guide that will show you where to every secret retro level in Streets of Rage 4 and how you can get inside. Happy fighting!
