Sony’s PlayStation Network is experiencing issues for many players globally, impacting access on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and web services. Sony’s PlayStation Service Status page says that “Some services are experiencing issues,” and provides the following message:
You might have difficulty launching games, apps, or network features. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
According to Sony’s status page, “Gaming and Social” and “Store” are the affected services.
Hopefully, Sony addresses these issues promptly so gamers can get on with their weekends. We will have more information on the outage and any possible remedy as soon as it becomes available.
