Just a few weeks after public beta testing began, the PC version of Halo 2: Anniversary will officially join The Master Chief Collection on May 12, developer 343 Industries announced on Tuesday.
Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved have already been released as part of The Master Chief Collection, and 343 Industries has promised players that Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 will all launch in 2020.

Originally released in 2004, Halo 2 first became available for PC on Windows Vista is 2007. Widely regarded as one of the best games of all-time and the best entry in the Halo series, Halo 2 released to mass critical acclaim and has been credited with popularizing esports in America.
Halo: 2 Anniversary, a high definition remaster, arrived on Xbox One in 2014 as part of The Master Chief Collection, sporting new cutscenes, completely revamped cinematics, upgraded graphics, and remastered audio. The PC port boasts support for 4K ultra-hd, ultrawide displays, a multiplayer experience unique to Anniversary, and the ability to switch between the Anniversary (remastered) and original Halo 2 graphics.
Halo 5 has not be announced as part of The Master Chief Collection. The newest entry in the Halo series, Halo Infinite, is expected to launch alongside the Xbox Series X this holiday season.
