As we near comic books returning to comic shops across the board, Jim Lee has reached day 34 of his 60 sketches in 60 days to help comic book stores in need during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and we’ve got a look at the latest sketch. What does he have in store for us? Why, the Bat-Hound, of course, complete with Batman too.
Lee has been auctioning the sketches on eBay with proceeds going to the Comicbook United Fund, a special relief effort designed to help struggling comic book retailers and managed by the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC). DC is also donating $250,000 to this fund. With comic book shops struggling and closing (BINC) provides relief to comic book retailers. Check out the latest sketch below and consider bidding to help a charitable cause.
Bid for Jim Lee’s sketches on eBay right now!
Each auction lasts for three days and the winning bidder from the previous auction gets to name the next DC character that Lee draws. As an additional wrinkle, no character can be duplicated. For more, check out the first 13 sketches in 13 days. We also featured exclusively the 20th sketch right here on AIPT.
To date, Jim has raised nearly $300,000 for the Comic Book United Fund ($307,168.79).
