One thing I remember from watching the film, Snowpiercer, was the opulence and extravagance of the train cars the closer Chris Evans’ Curtis and his party got to the engine. Each new railcar seemed to reveal an entirely different world and it was a marvel to think such things could exist in such a confined space.
With Snowpiercer coming to TV, TNT has taken the opportunity to show the designs of all 1001 cars of the luxury train. People from all walks of life contributed their own visions from showrunner, Graeme Manson, and the cast to influencers such as health and wellness expert Jillian Michaels and artists Matt Crump and Michah Dowbak. Even DC artists including Tyler Kirkham, Laura Braga, Tim Seeley and more developed their own custom designed railcar.
Some of the train car layouts can be found at WilfordIndustries.com; the same fictional company that runs the Snowpiercer. As the season progresses, more cars will be revealed. Fans can also submit their own ideas and have a chance to be featured on the site.
Snowpiercer debuts at 9pm ET/PT on Sunday, May 17, on TNT. Check out our review of the first episode.
