4K remasters of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 are coming in one collection, Activision announced today. Watch the trailer below:
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater was one of the most popular sports series of the early 2000s following the release of the first game in September 1999. It went on to spawn several sequels and spinoffs, and was a revolutionary take on the extreme sports genre, allowing players to rack up crazy combos and explore large maps based on real-life locations.
One of the most memorable aspects of THPS, though, was its legendary soundtrack, featuring the likes of Goldfinger, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, Rage Against the Machine, and more. Thankfully, the soundtrack for both games will be completely intact.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 will be released September 4, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
