Adventures in Movies! Episode 70: Our favorite Black filmmakers, actors, and movies

Blake, Danny, and Nathaniel talk their favorite black filmmakers and actors.

Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel rarely outright say what you should watch. In a roundabout way, they offer suggestions, but it is not often they say, “Go out and watch this.” This week, they pick their favorite movies from Black creators.

As the country begins to reopen, talk turns to what is going to happen and when. The boys talk about the possible fortunes of two possible movie chains. They also discuss if and when they will return to movie theaters.

Nathaniel talks about a disappointing week in movies, Danny talks about his experience with HBO Max, and Blake talks about Porno.

The trio talk about the best Black movies and actors. Eddie Murphy, the history of Black horror, and Black indie films are all discussed.

Adventures in Movies! is hosted by Nathaniel Muir, Blake, and Danny. You can find Nathaniel on Instagram at nathaninpoortaste.
