Images Comics sending ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’ collections back to print ahead of Netflix show release

Jupiter’s Legacy trade paperbacks are getting reprinted this September.

Image Comics is sending Jupiter’s Legacy vol 1 through 4 back to print in anticipation folks will want to read up on the series before its Netflix TV show debut. The series, created by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, saw its first issue hit the stands way back in 2013. The TV show has yet to get a release date but likely release some time in the fall.

PORTLAND, Ore. 06/08/2020 — Image Comics is pleased to announce that the entirety of Mark Millar’s (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Kick-AssJupiter’s Legacy series—trade paperback collected edition volumes 1-4 featuring cover art by the multiple Eisner Award-winning Frank Quitely—will be sent back to print. The reprints will land on shelves in September in time for readers to catch up on ahead of the highly anticipated Netflix Originals television adaptation set to stream on the popular platform later this year.

One of the most critically acclaimed superhero series of the past decade, Jupiter’s Legacy is set in mid-century America, and follows the world’s greatest superheroes as they face epic threats in public while battling private scandals behind closed doors.
