‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ announced for PS5

‘Now it’s your turn. Go be a hero, Miles.’

As part of Sony’s PlayStation 5 video stream event, Insomniac Games revealed the first teaser for their followup to their 2018 smash-hit Marvel’s Spider-Man, dubbed Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

As the title suggests, the game stars Miles Morales in place of Peter Parker. Morales was originally the Ultimate universe’s Spider-Man, but since then has appeared in multiple comic books, universes, and was a major player in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie. Now, players will be able to take control of him in Insomniac’s latest game.

The game is slated for a Holiday 2020 release, and no further details were given, but what little footage was shown looked amazing.

PlayStation 5, Sony’s next-generation console, is also expected to release sometime in the  Holiday 2020 season.
