WWE releases Jack Gallagher amid sexual misconduct allegations

Jack Gallagher is the first wrestler WWE has taken action against following the accusations.

WWE has released “Gentleman” Jack Gallagher following allegations of sexual misconduct. Gallagher last performed on WWE’s 205 Live brand. The company confirmed the news via their website.

Gallagher was one of many professional wrestlers who had serious accusations of sexual misconduct levied against them this week. While Jack Gallagher is the only wrestler WWE has taken action against, PROGRESS Wrestling severed ties with two wrestlers and suspended multiple others.

Gallagher joined WWE in 2016 as a participant in the Cruiserweight Classic tournament. Since then, he had competed for WWE’s NXT and 205 Live brands until his release today.
