This week, special guest Ryan Stegman joins us to talk Venom, his approach to drawing comics, and more. We also discuss his Free Comic Book Day story with Donny Cates introducing a new Venom villain named Virus and his love of Studio Ghibli films.
Before we talk to Stegman we recap the news, which starts with Dark Horse and Mike Mignola cutting ties with Scott Allie following sexual assault claims. We then discuss more developments around sexual assault and harassment as DC pulls Warren Ellis Dark Nights Death Metal short, Vault cancels Hundred Wolves due to Myke Cole’s misconduct, and Charles Brownstein has resigned from the CBLDF.
