DC Comics releases September solicitations catalog DC Connect issue #2

DC Connect issue #2 offers solicitations info, an interview with Tom Taylor, and more.

The sharply designed DC Comics solicitations magazine is back with DC Connect issue #2. Readers can check out what is coming from the comics publisher this September by downloading the PDF here. We reported on the first issue and redesign one month ago.

Key solicitation highlights for September 2020 include for the extra-sized Detective Comics #1027, Batman: The Joker War Zone #1, multiple new Dark Nights: Death Metal one-shots, the first DC Hill House Comics collections, and more!

Detective Comics #1027, a 144-page celebration of the thousand comics published since Batman’s first appearance in Detective Comics #27, will feature stories by Greg Rucka/Eduardo Risso, Grant Morrison/Chris Burnham, Tom King/Walt Simonson, James Tynion IV/Riley Rossmo, Peter J. Tomasi/Brad Walker, Dan Jurgens, Marv Wolfman/Emanuela Lupacchino and Bill Sienkiewicz, Brian Michael Bendis/David Marquez, Mariko Tamaki/Dan Mora, Scott Snyder/Ivan Reis, Kelly Sue DeConnick/John Romita Jr and Klaus Janson, and Matt Fraction/Chip Zdarsky. Detective Comics #1027 will be published on September 15.

Batman: The Joker War Zone #1, a 48-page one-shot anthology comic with stories by James Tynion IV, John Ridley, Guillem March, James Stokoe, Joshua Williamson, David Lafuente, and more, will be published on September 29 with a cover by Ben Oliver and a card stock variant cover by Derrick Chew.

DC Connect #2 also features an interview with Tom Taylor on Hellblazer: Rise and Fall, a look at the shocking death of Deadshot in Suicide Squad #9, and more behind-the-scenes features.
