Ravencroft has been an interesting series that spilled out of Absolute Carnage. The institution was featured in a tie-in to the event and played a significant role in Marvel history, which was revealed in Ruins of Ravencroft one-shot stories. In the final issue of Ravencroft, out today, the story wraps up and reveals a lot of hints of where future tales may pick things up.
One of those reveals is the shadow group who has popped up in the series so far, which Norman Osborn has been working with. In a key final scene, Norman reveals this organization got him out of the Red Goblin mess and back into normal evil businessman life.

In an interesting scene, Norman explains all the ways he’s helped this organization. I recommend reading the issue to get all the details, but one of the reveals points out Norman helped bring Dr. Kafka to the secret organization that will help them instrumentally.

How will she help them? Well, by testing on monsters of course!

It’s not until the last few pages we get a look at the secret organization though. Known as J.A.N.U.S., a key reveal shows us who has been speaking to Norman the whole time:

Possibly the biggest surprise character in this organization is James MacDonald Hudson aka Guardian who was created by John Byrne.
What do you think, Marvel Comics fans? Can J.A.N.U.S. coexist with the already robust evil villain organizations like A.I.M. and Hydra? Let us know in the comments.
