Leslie David Baker, better known to fans of The Office as Stanley Hudson, has launched a Kickstarter for an unofficial Office spinoff about Stanley, tentatively titled Uncle Stan: Coming Out of Retirement. He gave some additional information on his Instagram account:
“Leslie David Baker (Stanley Hundson of NBC’s ‘The Office’) will star as Uncle Stan,” the statement reads in part, “who begrudgingly leaves his retirement behind in exchange for a dynamic filled with children, personal vendettas, professional rivalries, and soon finds himself clashing with the California lifestyle.”
The Kickstarter is looking for $300,000 in the next month to make the unofficial show a reality, so if you want to see Stanley Hudson back in all his curmudgeonly glory, be sure to back the project today. No word yet on if there’s a pretzel day in California.
