Following their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles concert tour 4-pack reveal, NECA today announced their second SDCC 2020 exclusive: The Predator 2 Ultimate City Demon.
Based on the creature’s appearance in 1990’s Predator 2 (which celebrates its 30th anniversary this fall), the figure features a clear plastic finish with blue lighting accents and 30 points of articulation.
It also comes with retractable wrist blades, an articulated shoulder cannon, and a boatload of cool accessories.
I’m normally not a big fan of packaging, but the Ultimate City Demon comes in a 5-panel window box that activates a lighting affect you open (which you can watch for yourself below).
I normally give collectors who keep their toys in the box a hard time, but I’d be strongly tempted to join you this time. This looks all types of cool.
I’ll admit that I don’t own any Predator toys (I’m much more of an Alien fan), but the cool extras and my affinity for blue/translucent figures makes this one a must buy.
The figure will retail for $29.96 be available July 23 in Walmart stores.
I know…I know…a Walmart exclusive can often translate to an Ebay exclusive for a lot of us. Thankfully, if you’re willing to pay a little extra, the figure will also be on sale July 23 from NECA’s online store for $34.99.
