With orders on the DCeased: Dead Planet #1 Second Printing coming in at breakneck speed, DC is excited to announce that demand for this sold out debut issue has resulted in a new, third printing, arriving August 11!

The demand is not surprising, as “DCeased: Dead Planet #1 is a superlative sequel any fan of superheroes, zombies, or great storytelling should be picking up,” said Multiversity Comics in their review, while Newsarama includes that Taylor and Hairsine have delivered “a sequel that will engage you, surprise you, and will ultimately turn everything we know about this series on its head.”

Reviews aren’t everything though, since Tom Taylor took to Twitter this morning with his latest warning: “you think there’ll be someone left standing at the end of #DCeased: Dead Planet. ”

DCeased: Dead Planet #1 Third Printing will feature a recolored version of the original cover art by David Finch and minimal trade dress, and reprints the story written by Tom Taylor with art by Trevor Hairsine, Stefano Gaudiano, and Gigi Baldissini.

And one of the hottest series of the summer, Dark Nights: Death Metal marks the return of the bestselling team of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo—and with the first issue of this miniseries sold out and demand from readers growing with each issue, DC announces a new printing coming to comics shops August 11!

“The unabashed energy of Dark Nights: Death Metal #1 is the sort of thing most event books would kill to emulate,” Newsarama said in their review of the first issue, while Geek Dad said “this is one of the most unpredictable first issues I can remember, with callbacks to some of the greatest DC events of all time.” AiPT includes that Snyder and Capullo “are going down in comics history as one of the most dynamic, creative teams of all time,” while ComicBook said “they seem to be having an absolute ball creating this crazy world, and you’ll have just as much fun getting lost in it.”

Dark Nights: Death Metal #1 Second Printing will feature a recolored version of the original cover by Greg Capullo, on card stock but without foil stamping.
