Tom King publicly apologizes to Jae Lee, removes tweets

Tom King has publicly apologized after a wild few days involving a Jae Lee variant cover.

Tom King has publicly apologized to Jae Lee after expressing “deep disappointment” with DC Comics for using Lee on a Rorschach variant cover. Although King let his Twitter followers know he talked to Lee directly and apologized, King removed that and his original tweets related to the controversy.

You can read his apology below:

The cover that started it all features a skinny and wisened Rorschach pumping a Dr. Manhattan dumbbell in the mirror.

Presumably, the Jae Lee variant cover will still run when Rorschach #1 is set to debut in comic shops and digitally on October 13, 2020. Read an early preview here.
