August 2020 video game releases

See all the big titles coming for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

Alright, so first things first. I know Balder’s Gate 3 is the feature image and that’s what a lot of us are here for, so I want to clarify right off the bat that the full game isn’t being released in August. But, developer Larian Studios is opening up the game for early access on Steam in August. We don’t have an exact date yet, but we know it’s going to be in August and we can play some form of the game within the next 30 days.

If you haven’t watched the cinematic trailer and hour long gameplay demo, I highly recommend you do so as both look incredible.

Don’t worry football fans, I didn’t forget about you. With the NFL season hanging by a thread we all need something to give us hope and Madden 21 is here to do just that. If you’re a blasphemer and want to see Tom Brady in a Buccaneers jersey, congratulations! August is your early preview of the real thing.
