Adventures in Movies!

Adventures in Movies! Episode 78: Another episode based on true events.

The boys talk true crime.

Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel were three movie podcasters who seemed to have their act together. People were listening to their shows. Their new YouTube endeavors were gaining traction. They were even hocking male grooming products. Then, the one year anniversary arrived.

The show begins with the three talking the trials and tribulations of AMC. Nothing seemed liked it was out of the ordinary, but that is usually the way even the worst stories begin.

Things began to settle down as the three began to talk about westerns. Rio Bravo, Unforgiven, and Django are all discussed. But the question still remains: where have all the westerns gone?

This week also includes an interview with director Andrea Dorfman. She discusses her new movie Spinster. But is it possible to have a rom com without any attempt at romance?

This week’s main segment is about true crime. The boys discuss the movies that did things wrong, the ones that did it all wrong, and try to solve whether documentaries, docu series, or podcasts are best for true crime. Plus, whatever happened to the mafia?
