LOS ANGELES, CA (August 5, 2020) – BOOM! Studios today announced a special advance edition of SEVEN SECRETS #1, kicking off the hotly anticipated new original comic book series, from New York Times bestselling author Tom Taylor (DCeased), acclaimed artist Daniele Di Nicuolo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), colorist Walter Baiamonte (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and letterer Ed Dukeshire (Once & Future) about seven powerful secrets—words, wonders, weapons, and worse—with the power to change the world.

The limited edition one-per-store SEVEN SECRETS #1 variant features cover art from acclaimed series artist Di Nicuolo. Moreover, this one-per-store edition arrives at qualifying comic shop retailers on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, one full week in advance of the series debut on August 12, 2020.

This is a surprise variant cover for comic shops as part of the groundbreaking Day One Retailer Support Services Program, an industry-first plan to support comic shops and their communities worldwide through December 2020. More details on the program can be found right here.

SEVEN SECRETS is our highest launching original series in the history of the company and we want to make sure every comic shop retailer has a chance to read it before it hits stands,” said Filip Sablik, President, Publishing & Sales, BOOM! In the world of SEVEN SECRETS, the Order has trusted in Keepers and Holders to guard the Secrets in seven briefcases against all harm for centuries but when their stronghold is attacked and the secrets put in peril, the entire Order must face their greatest fear—an enemy who knows too much and is willing to kill to get what he wants.

Now, the Order’s newest member, Caspar, must discover the truth of the Secrets before the enemy does, or risk losing everything.

SEVEN SECRETS #1 features main cover art by Di Nicuolo, as well as variant covers by Miguel Mercado (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Matteo Scalera (Black Science), InHyuk Lee (DCeased), and more.

Print copies of SEVEN SECRETS #1 will be available on August 12, 2020 exclusively at local comic book shops (use comicshoplocator.com to find the one nearest you) or at the BOOM! Studios webstore.
