It has been a strange year for movie releases. There have been some major plans that have had to be changed and then changed again due to COVID. Fans are still waiting for potential blockbusters such as Black Widow and No Time to Die. Christopher Nolan’s Tenet was supposed to signal the return of movie theaters, but it is currently in limbo.
One of the most anticipated movies of the early part of the year was the live action remake of Mulan. The trailer was met with much excitement with many stating it may be the best of Disney’s live action efforts. Originally, scheduled to release in March, it has been pushed back repeatedly.
Disney announced the movie will be releasing on its Disney Plus streaming service on September 4. It will not be a part of the standard subscription. The price will be $30. This is a major announcement and it will be interesting to see what Disney’s next step will be with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
