Disney+ receives recognition for their retro cartoon selection. After all, it is the home to many favorites from Marvel titles like X-Men and Spider-Man: The Animated Series to Disney Afternoon stalwarts such as Gargoyles, TaleSpin, and Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers. However, it seems that Hulu is assembling a pretty impressive collection of children’s animated series from the 80s and 90s themselves.
Already on the streamer are Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Pinky and the Brain along with original Nicktoons including Rugrats and Doug. Today, Hulu surprised everyone by exclusively launching the iconic 80s version of ThunderCats as well as the 2011 reboot.
The story follows a superhero team of cat-like humanoid aliens that flee from their dying planet of Thundera and find themselves on a new world called Third Earth. There, they set up a new home but their arch enemies, the Mutants of Plun-Darr, soon find them and look to steal the Thundercats’ most valued treasure, the Sword of Omens. The original series was a fun action-packed cartoon that had some of the coolest toys.

Relive your youth by watching 130 episodes from the two seasons of the 1985 ThunderCats cartoon. Then catch the underappreciated reboot from 2011 that consisted of a single season with 26 episodes.
