DC FanDome ’20: ‘Titans’ visits Gotham for season 3

Three familiar faces from Gotham will appear in Titans season 3.

So much news and reveals have been dropping during the first day of DC FanDome. Whether it’s details on James Gunn’s upcoming Suicide Squad film, a new Batman comic series, or tidbits on the Black Adam movie from The Rock himself, there is something to satisfy any fan. During the Titans panel we received some teases for the TV show’s third season.

In attendance were executive producer, Greg Walker, and cast members, Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters, Joshua Orpin, Damaris Lewis, with Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly. After some discussions on “Fan Favorite Moments” from season two, there was talk on where the team is headed next and who to expect to see.

The Titans will be visiting Gotham where they will meet up with old colleagues and encounter new threats. During the course of their new adventures, they’ll cross paths with familiar faces, Red Hood, Barbara Gordon, and Dr. Jonathan Crane.

Hood is the only character cast so far with Walters’ Jason Todd taking up the mantle. As this new identity, he becomes obsessed with taking down his old team.

Barbara Gordon is no longer is Batgirl and has moved on to become Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department. Though she has a previous history with Dick Grayson, she is a bit apprehensive to have the super hero team in her city.

The version of Crane for the show is a current inmate at Arkham Asylum for his crimes as the Scarecrow. However, for special cases, he offers his expertise as a profiler to consult for the Gotham City Police Department.

Do any of the new developments make you excited for the next season of Titans?
