Guests Si Spurrier and Chris Wildgoose join the show to discuss their recently wrapped up BOOM! Studios series Alienated. As a sort of “exit interview,” we discuss the series as a whole, their intentions with themes, how they felt it came out, and more. It’s a deep dive into one of the best science fiction series of the year.

Before the interview, we dig into the news. To start, we discuss the newly launched Kickstarter The Trap on the way, go over the five new series Bad Idea is relaunching in 2021, and the newly announced Humanoids’ ‘Space Bastards’ arriving this January. Diamond releases their first sales chart since coming back and Comicchron merges the data.

In “big-two” news, audio drama Batman Unburied is coming 2021 and Grant Morrison’s Arkham Asylum sequel is permanently delayed. Marel Comics has launched two big trailers this week with the Marvel’s 616 gets a trailer, and the X of Swords: Stasis trailer. Marvel also added to the Boseman tribute while Todd McFarlane joins in. Also, why hasn’t Marvel not solicited Coates’ final Black Panther issues? Also, King in Blacktemporary tattoos!
