‘The Department of Truth’ #1 reaches 100k orders selling out at Diamond

James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds’ The Department of Truth is rushing back to print.

Press Release

Image Comics has revealed The Department of Truth has topped 100,000 orders and has sold out at Diamond Comics Distributors. The first issue is stellar, we gave it a 10/10 in our review, and it’s clearly making waves with fans too.

“I’m honestly speechless. You work on a comic book for a few years in isolation, and you hope that people are going to connect with it, but you never really know,” said Tynion IV in an official Image Comics press release. “Seeing the response to this series, both on a critical and a commercial front, has been absolutely staggering. Thank you so much for putting your faith in this little book. I am going to work my butt off to make sure it stays the best comic book it can be.”
