Watch: Trailer for ‘Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2’

Back in time for the spooky season.

Unsolved Mysteries proved its enduring appeal with the Netflix reboot released earlier this year. The new version of the iconic show was more than just a rehashing of an old favorite. The first six episodes proved the franchise was willing to adapt with the times. Save for one episode, the reboot did not focus on aliens or urban legends. Instead, there were more grounded mysteries. The show had more of a true crime feel to it. The original also had these episodes, but there was also a tendency to veer towards the fantastic.

The Netflix version of the show also took the show across the world. This was something rarely seen in the original. Based on the trailer, it looks like Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2 will continue to travel the world. This is good to see as mysterious happenings are not just limited to this part of the world. Even more exciting, is the tease of some supernatural elements not seen in the first volume.

Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2 premieres October 19 on Netflix .
