Deadline is reporting Oscar Isaac is in negotiations to take on the role of Moon Knight in their upcoming Disney+ series. The show was announced way back in November 2019 with Umbrella Academy series creator Jeremy Slater producing. This shows there’s continued progress with the Marvel Studios television projects having recently cast Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk.
Moon Knight is a character many comic book fans have been greatly anticipating in part because he’s similar to Batman in many ways, but also because he’s had some highly acclaimed comic book series of late that would work perfectly in a television format.
Hell, I even said it’d be a movie before long.

If you’re unfamiliar, according to Wikipedia Moon Knight is about former boxer Marc Spector who is also a former “CIA agent, and mercenary, who found himself near death after being betrayed by his employer, Raoul Bushman, when they stumbled upon an archaeological dig, which Bushman intended to loot for profit. As he lay dying, Spector was approached by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, who offered him a second chance at life in exchange for becoming his avatar on Earth. As a result, Spector was resurrected and given superhuman abilities. Upon his return to the United States, he invested the money that he had accumulated as a mercenary to make a fortune, and became the crimefighter “Moon Knight.” He also created multiple identities, most notably that of millionaire Steven Grant, to distance himself from his mercenary past, and of taxicab driver Jake Lockley, to remain in contact with the street and criminal element.”
Moon Knight has yet to acquire a release date or a director, but likely things will move fast once Isaac is acquired.
