Today’s Mando Monday gave us two big reveals for Star Wars’ Black Series. One was a roleplay item, which I normally don’t cover. This time, however, it was simply too awesome to ignore:
The Mandalorian Electronic Helmet
In addition to its beautiful Beskar detailing, this full-sized helmet comes with an adjustable/padded interior and a removable tactical light. Flipping it upside down also reveals two red interior lights.
Am I arguably way too old to own and wear something like this? Yes. Is that going to stop me from buying one? Absolutely not.
The helmet will retail for $119.99 (available for preorder now) and is expected to arrive in Spring of 2021.
Remnant Trooper
For some reason, I’ve never been as obsessive about collecting Original Trilogy Stormtroopers like I am about clones. Maybe it’s because they were laughably terrible soldiers for the most part (especially compared to the Grand Army of the Republic).
That being said, this figure being a part of The Mandalorian makes it a much more likely purchase for display purposes.
The Remnant Trooper will retail for $19.99 and is a Target Exclusive…so yeah, preorders are already sold out. Hopefully it stayed up longer than the last one so a few of your non-scalper types snag one. It’s expected to arrive in stores (and Ebay) by late November or early December.
