We received some tidbits about the upcoming new season of Pennyworth at DC FanDome to help generate excitement for the returning series. The wait is now a little more than a month and EPIX has released a trailer.
Alfred is looking to make a fresh start after the events of the first season but trouble has found him again. He must help protect London after Lord Harwood manages to escape and sparks a civil war. Meanwhile, Batman’s future parents hit an awkward stage in their relationship with Thomas Wayne engaged to someone else. At the FanDome panel, it was already revealed Martha will soon become pregnant so will this make things more uncomfortable?
Also announced during the second weekend of FanDome was the arrival of Lucius Fox to Pennyworth. We receive our first glimpse of actor, Simon Manyonda, in the role as he nervously stands in what looks like a bathroom stall. Watch the trailer below.
