Robert Patrick and more join HBO Max’s ‘Peacemaker’

The cast for the John Cena lead Peacemaker gets bigger and Vigilante/Adrian Chase actor named.

Last September, it was announced that Peacemaker would be receiving a spin-off TV show on HBO Max after The Suicide Squad film. Today some casting news was revealed with regards to the action-comedy series.

Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black) and Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day) will have roles as Leota Adebayo and Auggie Smith respectively. Also appearing will be Jennifer Holland (Brightburn) reprising her character, Emilia Harcourt, from The Suicide Squad. In the comics, Harcourt is an NSA agent who works with A.R.G.U.S. in monitoring Task Force X.

Another familiar comic character who will be in Peacemaker is Vigilante/Adrian Chase. He will be played by Chris Conrad (Perpetual Grace, LTD). This isn’t the first time Chase has appeared in live-action form. A version of the anti-hero was on the The CW’s Arrow but that show is outside of the DCEU.

They all join John Cena, who plays the titular character, and the previously announced Steve Agee, who reprises his role as John Economos from The Suicide Squad.

Production on Peacemaker is set to begin in early 2021.
