Marvel Comics launches ‘U.S.Agent’ video interview with writer Christopher Priest

U.S.AGENT #1 is now available in comic book shops.

Marvel Comics has launched an interview with U.S.Agent writer Christopher Priest to discuss the new series. We reviewed it at AIPT and gave it a good score, but you can pick it up now digitally to see for yourself. The new series focuses on John Walker who is now stripped of his official Status as a U.S.Agent and finds himself in a conflict between a small town and a corporate giant.

In the interview, Priest says Captain America makes being a hero look easy, and “John Walker is not Steve Rogers.”

Watch the interview below.

“John Walker is not a super hero. No matter how hard he wants to be a super hero, he’s really not,” Priest explained in the video. “And that’s the whole point of John Walker. The whole point of a guy like John Walker is to point out just how much strength of character and nobility and self-sacrifice it takes to actually be called a hero in the Marvel Universe.”
