‘The Walking Dead’: Hershel Rhee makes first appearance in new production teaser

Maggie and Glenn’s son will be joining the the group when Season 10 returns in February.

Last night, the official Twitter account for The Walking Dead on AMC posted a 20 second teaser for its return this February.

As you can see, it wasn’t really your standard preview–mostly just an announcement that production was underway along with some behind the scenes footage and a few quick scenes.

A few minutes later, however, the official Twitter account for The Walking Dead franchise (I know…it’s confusing) pointed out that we just got our first look at Maggie & Glenn’s son, Hershel.

It makes sense that he’d be part of the cast since Maggie is making a full time return to the series. That being said, it was still a great surprise to see him show up, especially wearing Glenn’s old baseball cap. No information has been released on who’s playing Hershel, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon.

The Walking Dead returns on February 28 with six additional episodes for Season 10.
