Yesterday, Robert Kirkman celebrated the 18th birthday of his Invincible comic series with a livestream event. This wasn’t just to discuss the amazing story he told from 2003 – 2018, though. Kirkman also announced that the animated Invincible adaptation would be premiering Marching 26 on Amazon Prime.
For those Mark-ing your calendars:
– March 26 – Episodes 1-3
– April 2 – Episode 4
– April 9 – Episode 5
– April 16 – Episode 6
– April 23 – Episode 7
– April 30 – Episode 8#InvincibleFriday pic.twitter.com/4Lx10qH1D3— Invincible (@InvincibleHQ) January 22, 2021
Much like Amazon Prime’s The Boys, Invincible will consist of eight hour long episodes. The first three will debut on Friday, March 26 with the rest airing weekly until April 30.
We also got a quick teaser, which you can watch below.

If you’re not a fan of the comic, then believe me when I say that what you just watched comes nowhere close to giving an idea of what the series is about.
In the comic (which the show looks to be adapting very closely), 17-year old Mark Grayson begins to develop the same powers as his father, who is a beloved superhero. What begins the most standard of story set ups quickly morphs into a thrilling tale of love, betrayal, and violence.
It will be interesting to see how much of the Invincible mythology they try to pack into the series. But if The Boys taught us anything, it’s that Amazon Prime has no qualms about showing copious amounts of bloodshed in its comic adaptations.
Whatever the case, March 26 can’t get here soon enough.
