With the world watching, CBS All Access tripped into their big Super Bowl start today as the app crashed at 6:30 pm eastern for most people. Users reported the app wouldn’t work on Roku, web browsers, and through Samsung televisions.
Talk about a fumble for the service, which will be rebranding to Paramount+ on March 4th, and the world watching. More than likely the app wasn’t prepared for how many people were logging in at once.
The technical difficulties appeared to be resolved 30 or 40 minutes after it crashed. If you’re still having trouble logging in simply restart the app. In the meantime, some Twitter users were reporting ESPN Deportes was still streaming Super Bowl LV with no issues.
Thanks to CBS All Access crashing, I'm currently watching #SBLV on ESPN Deportes. Just learned that the spanish word for Mahomes is "Mahomes"

Many people took to Twitter to express their frustration and make cracks at the app’s name since its “all access” was challenged with the crash.

Given the frustration of missing the first half-hour of the Super Bowl, it’s lucky the app will be changing its name in March.
