If you’re a child of the 90s you know Marvel trading cards were the coolest thing on the block. Well now, an artist who made waves in the 1990s is delivering on nostalgic vibes with new trading card variant covers. Throughout May, Marvel Comics will publish special trade card style variant covers by the artist for the new Heroes Reborn series. More info on Heroes Reborn here.
Not only that, the artwork from these variant covers will be featured on trading cards available at participating comic shops while supplies last!
“Man, THIS was fun! I got to draw a BUNCH of characters for the first time, which doesn’t happen very often after all these years of drawing comics,” Bagley said in a press release sent to AIPT. “I was just a kid comics fan when the Squadron was created, and I remember loving John and Sal Buscema’s art at the time. Even then, I aspired to do what they were doing, so it was a thrill doing this, and I’m proud to have been offered the opportunity.”
Check out a variety of the covers below one of which appears to be hiding an important figure at the center of the card.

Retailers will be able to order these packs and begin distributing them when HEROES REBORN #1 launches on May 5th.
