[Watch] ‘The Suicide Squad’ trailer is violent and weird

The first official ‘The Suicide Squad’ trailer is finally here. Set for release this August.

Today, Warner Bros. have released the first official The Suicide Squad trailer and it’s glorious. Teased with some behind-the-scenes footage at DC FanDome 2020, this is our first official look at what this film is about.

The Suicide Squad is James Gunn’s first foray with DC Comics properties after his much-beloved two-movie run with Guardians of the Galaxy.

So what’s it about?

Super-Villains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of cons at Belle Reve prison join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X where they are heavily-armed and dropped off at the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.

Watch it below, or you can view it on YoutTube too.

The Suicide Squad is written and directed by Gunn with Charles Roven and Peter Safran serving as producers and Nik Korda executive producing the movie, which will hit theaters and HBO Max on August 6!
