If you read X-Men Monday #100, you know that X-Force artist and Marvel Stormbreaker Joshua Cassara contributed an original piece of Emma Frost artwork. The White Queen, decked out in one of Russell Dauterman’s Hellfire Gala designs, truly shines in her diamond form. And now, you have a chance to own this one-of-a-kind drawing!
Just as artist Todd Nauck recently auctioned off his “Soul Sword Storm” piece (created for X-Men Monday #59), with all proceeds going to the Hero Initiative, Josh and AIPT will be auctioning off this latest artwork for the same great cause. If you’re unfamiliar with the good the Hero Initiative does for the comics community, here’s a bit more information from the organization’s website:
“The Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work. Since inception, the Hero Initiative has been fortunate enough to benefit creators with more than $1 million worth of much-needed aid, fueled by your contributions! It’s a chance for all of us to give back something to the people who have given us so much enjoyment.”
Interested in owning this artwork and helping comic creators in need? The auction’s currently underway on AIPT’s Twitter.
Here are the rules:
- Make sure you have a Twitter account–this is the only way you can bid.
- Be sure to review the other bids in the tweet’s reply, then place your bid.
- The auction will close Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 5:30 PM EST, so plan accordingly!
- We’ll announce the winner of the auction and they’ll need to show proof of their donation to the Hero Initiative.
