Marvel Comics drops ‘Heroes Reborn’ trailer ahead of its May 5 release

‘Heroes Reborn’ will present a world where the Avengers never assembled and the Squadron Supreme took their place.

Today, Marvel Comics has released a new trailer for their upcoming event Heroes Reborn. Written by Jason Aaron with art by Ed McGuiness, the eight-part story takes place in Heroes Reborn #1-7 and Heroes Return #1 featuring a story about a world where the Avengers never existed. You can check out an advance preview here and a full June release schedule here.

Aaron confirmed via a ComicBook.com interview this event is all-new and the “story really has nothing whatsoever to do with the original Heroes Reborn event.” The new trailer is more of a hype-trailer than an informative one as it features art only from comic book covers and utilizes sound effects as opposed to an informative narration.
