Issue #306 will feature debut stories by Ryan K. Orlando’s series is Heavy Metal’s first YA story and follows college student and summer lifeguard Stephanie Cohen, who realizes she’s a reincarnated cosmic warrior who must defend reality from chaos as one of seven Starward Sisters. In Chapter 2, Stephanie learns about her warrior self and her quest to find her sisters so they can fight the demon Kaos and protect the universe from destruction. Steve Orlando weaves in humor and fun into this epic YA tale, beautifully illustrated by Ivan Shavrin.
