Marvel Legends: New Infinity Saga figures revealed

Marvel Legends revealed even more new figures for its deluxe Infinity Saga subline.

This weekend, Hasbro revealed three new Infinity Saga sets for their Marvel Legends toyline.

That obviously means a higher price point, but it also gives us some new characters/looks for the line. Let’s see if any of them are worth preordering.

Iron Man Mark III

Yes, it’s a great looking Iron Man figure. Yes, we already have too many of these–even within this subline. If you want to pay $24.99 (or more) for another, then it’s currently available for preorder with an expected arrival in September.

Rescue (Pepper Potts) and Captain Marvel 2-pack

I really want to like this set, but that Rescue/Pepper Potts head sculpt doesn’t look A THING like Gwyneth Paltrow. Lena Headey might be owed some royalties if you squint hard enough, though. At least the armored up version looks cool.

But even when you add in the very good Captain Marvel figure, this Amazon Exclusive set doesn’t come close to warranting its $52.99 price tag. If you disagree, however, then it’s available now for preorder with an expected arrival in September.

I definitely don’t have a gold Iron Man in my collection, but that doesn’t mean I want one.

A Marvel Legends scale Jon Favreau, though? That’s definitely worth considering–although he may end up on a flight stand hovering over my Mandalorian display with his arms outstretched in triumph.

Even though this set (which retails for $49.99) is a Target exclusive, preorders have managed to remain in stock! You can snag yours here and expect it to arrive in August.
