Earlier this week, Hasbro provided yet another great exclusive reveal to a toy site/reviewer. This time it was MCUCollector24, who gave us our first look at the Walmart Collector Con exclusive Compound Hulk.
In case you forgot, one of the ways Walmart has tried to brand itself as a major toy retailer is their new annual event where they release exclusive figures that may or may not have their preorders randomly canceled. This year’s Walmart Collector Con event will take place from July 22-25. No shelf date or pricing information for the big guy has been made available yet, but one would assume he’ll cost more than a standard Marvel Legends figure due to his enormous size.
The last time we got a Compound Hulk figure was for the (sadly) discontinued 3.75″ scale Marvel Universe line in 2011. That figure was a New York Comic Con exclusive and is very hard to find now. It’s probably safe bet that this one will be hard to track down as well once it sells out.
Although the Compound Hulk (aka the Composite Hulk) isn’t a character you see in the comics much, he does look incredibly cool. He also fought Xemnu, so your Build-A-Figure from the recent Marvel Legends Villain Wave will finally have someone to face in canonically accurate battle on your toy shelf.
Head over to MCUCollector24’s video review for a better look at the figure’s articulation and to see how he stacks up to Marvel Legend’s other Hulk figures.
