Die #17

Words by Kieron Gillen. Art by Stephanie Hans.

Die is an incredible series, and issue #17 is its best installment yet. My sole complaint is that I can only rate it 10/10.

The Good Asian #2

Words by Pornsak Pichetshote. Art by Alexandre Tefenkgi.

The Good Asian #2 is a piece of comic gold. The story itself is content-heavy so you may have to read it more than once to get a sense of everything. It also raises more questions surrounding Ivy Chen’s disappearance and has a cliffhanger you won’t see coming. (9/10)

Strange Academy #11

Words by Skottie Young. Art by Humberto Ramos.

Strange Academy #11 diverges from its magical path, but is still ripe with the character development that makes the series so wholesome. (9/10)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #117

Words and art by Sophie Campbell.

An issue that hits the ground running and never stops. Confirming an openly bisexual character alone is enough to give it praise, but it goes above and beyond from there to really make it feel like we can only go up from here. (9/10)

The Six Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton #1

Words by Kyle Starks. Art by Chris Schweizer.

The Six Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton #1 is a must-read. If you’re a fan of movies like Knives Out and The Usual Suspects, you’ll love this book. Make sure to add it to your list during your next trip to your local comic shop, and be sure to pick up all the cool variants they have for it as well. (9/10)
