We discuss his approach, working with Ben Templesmith and Simon Bisley, future plans for his series, and more (including his upcoming movie projects!). Before we dig into the interview we recap the biggest news of the week. First up, Marvel reveals ‘The Death of Doctor Strange is coming this September. Also coming, are a lot of Spawn Universe comics as over 200K units sold which may be why Todd McFarlane has partnered with wiip for a Sam and Twitch TV series. Also in Hollywood, a God Country film is coming soon from AfterShock Media & Legendary.
Also, the 2021 Eisner Awards nominations were announced. In other announcement news, Heavy Metal has horror one-shot Intrusion for September 22nd, and new crowdfunding platform Zoop launched this week. We also discuss the seemingly out of nowhere news that Bill Willingham’s Fables is set to return next year with a Batman vs. Bigby series launching this September.
