Today, Marvel Comics revealed via a slick trailer they’ll be celebrating Spider-Man in a big way for his 60th anniversary. Details are scarce, but Marvel promises to celebrate via “comics, games, shows, collectibles, fashion and more!”
Given Spider-Man is kicking off with a new creative team Amazing Spider-Man #74–and a teaser for it on New Comic Book Day on August 14–it’s looking like Spider-Man may be taking over Marvel for some time. The Spider-Man/Venom FCBD 2021 comic features a cover by Patrick Gleason, who will also be co-writing and drawing Amazing Spider-Man. Fans can also expect an Avengers/Hulk FCBD comic from Marvel on August 14th as well.
