[Fantasia ’21] Outsider comedy ‘King Knight’ to make world premiere at Fantasia

Making its world premiere at Fantasia.

King Knight is one of the most intriguing titles that will be coming to the Fantasia Film Festival this month. The film has a strong cast that includes Angela Sarafyan, Andy Milonakis, Barbara Crampton, and Aubrey Plaza. The movie is about a high priest named Thorn (Matthew Gray Gubler) who has been hiding a dark secret from his wife Willow (Sarafyan). What ensues is a wild ride that will keep audiences guessing what will happen next.

King Knight is on many must see lists.

Written and directed by Richard Bates Jr. (a familiar face at Fantasia) the off the wall comedy promises to be a treat for the senses. The film is a genre mash up that incorporates elements of witchcraft, reunions, and subtle sight gags. Many who are attending Fantasia already have King Knight on their must see list. It will be making its world premiere at Fantasia.
